The warmth is evident but it is well balanced by a decisive dryness that leaves the mouth clean and ready for another sip.

Florals, and lots of clove. Hazy light brown pour without much head. Slightly bitter but mostly light sweet finish. A little booze. Bottle.

Lattina.

Bottle. Yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized foamy white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, grains, fruits and mild floral and yeasty tones. Flavour is floral, fruity, yeasty, mild spices and some mild bready and biscuity tones.

I’m looking at a 33 cl bottle acquired from one of my Belgian retailers, cannot recall which. Tripels are easily one of my favorite styles, fortunate to have this one. I make the pour inside of my best globe glass to see an appealing orange-gold body finished by a thin but healthy head of totally white foam. Your basic tripel scent, yellow fruit and grain, not bad. The taste is good going on to rather good. Apricots, white bread, yeast, maybe a surprising touch of mango along with melon. Where do these come from? A small sweetness followed by a corresponding bitterness. A nice fullness too. Deservedly a top fifty tripel.

Tap at mcsvaf rome. Golden coloe hazed big creamy white head. Aroma is malty with strong belgian yeast, spices and belgian hops, apple, hints of Citrus.. Taste sugary and balanced, somehow similar to tripel kalrmeliet. Solid body, proper carbonation, nice clean finish. Excellent tripel.

From a 33cl bottle into a Tripel Karmeliet goblet. Pours a cloudy dark straw with an off white head. Aromas of fruit. Flavors are sweet candi sugar. Really delicious.

Pour is a murky brown with very little head. Aroma is a bit of barnyard must with some white grape. Flavor is again a bit of basement must, some honey and lemon peel. This poured without much head so I was a bit leary about this but it was a fine example of the style.

Clear yellow colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have some sweet malts and a some fruity, sweet alcohol esters. Background of clove.
