Rood met roze kraag, aroma en smaken van kersen, redelijk zoet, frisse zure lambic, hout, lekker complex, damn en dit vind de vrouw dan nu wel weer lekker, dat wordt delen... lekker spul.

The unblended ’raw material’ from which the famous Lindemans Kriek is made. Deep wine-red colour, lots of cherry juice, sugary, a bit artificial and far removed from the fully authentic kriekenlambics made without sugar and with real sweet cherries, even a bit syrupy. Basic taste is more or less the same as the bottled version.

Draft. Cloudy reddish color, flat. Aroma of tangy fruit, red wine, edge of citrus. Taste is sour cherries, full flavoroed and vinous. Delicious.

Slightly hazy ruby colour, no head. Aroma of cherry and aspirin. Sweet flavour, cherry, chalk and aspirin. Finish cherry, fruits and chalk.
(Draught @ WoSF, Opstal 2013. Thanks for sharing, Uli! Part of Uli’s blind tasting of fruit lambics. 8 out of 10, not bad my friend, not bad at all!)

Tap at WoSF, 2013. It pours deep red-purple with no head. The nose is earthy, mouldy wood, cherry, cherry tunes, candy and faint medicinal notes. The nose is tart cherry, red grape skin, vinous, sharp lemon, plum skin and intense sourness with a dry, tart finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Sharp, juicy and damn tasty. Wow!

– Enjoyed at the 2012 Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation. This is an unblended Lambiek direct from the brewery. Served in 2 ounce pours.

A - Looks like cheap red wine. Slight cloudiness.

S - dry cherries and raisins. Simple sugar

T - sour but fruity sour. Very special. Dried and candied cherries. Sweet tarts

M - 0%. Medium. Oily and slick

O – 4/5. Impressive taste.
