Coca cola brown ale with a thin moka head. Sweet caramel in aroma with light sulfur. Tastes like latino malta, rather sweet unfermented malts, no hops detedcted, rather annoying finish. Like a cheap no name cola. thin. The drink of Belgian youth, say it aint so....Bought at GB Brussels, April 2005.

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark brown with a reddish tint, no head to speak of. Sweet, roasted malt and and artificial sweetness from the added saccharine. Well, it’s not directly unpleasant - and that’s about all there is to this table beer. 290598 and 260298

A red-brown beer with no head. The aroma is very faint, but sweet with notes of licorice and malt. The flavor is sour from the lack of sugar with notes of straw and caramel. The body is thin.

Bottled. Almost black. Very sweet. Sugar and saccharin makes up most of the flavour. Less drinkable than the blonde.

Dirty yellow-brown head, fast gone; darker brown beer with ruby shine. Sweet nose, fruity, "traubenzucker"; dark, but sweet malts. Faint "floue" sweet taste, a touch fruity. Sourish impression, without really something to back it up. Watery texture, but medium body. A bit flat, but seen its "style", not so bad. Superior in any way to its blonde counterpart. Which tends to prove that Wayland syrup, or something similar, is better stuff than beer brewed at the Jupille plant...
