Draught at Moeder Lambic, foamy bubbly head, clear deepish gold color, strong shrubby piney aroma with some citrus behind, light malty bready flavor with a light but noticable herbal bitterness. Excellent aroma, dissapointing flavor, still quite nice.

11.2oz bottle. Unfiltered yellow-tan body. Big, steady, creamy, foamy, off-white head. Very sublime, touches of oxidization, but also a nice oaty feel. Really easy drinking and refreshing for the style, leaning as much into the wheat as the yeast. Perfect table beer. Faint pils-ish buttery undertones. Really excellent. Uncommonly sublime beer.

Jandrain Saison IV pours an orange-gold with a thin head that disappears fast. The aroma is fruity with honey and breadiness. A simple fruit forward rather than spicy or funky saison but at less than 5 bucks it’s a good value.

0.75l bottle. Almost totally clear golden body with a huge white head. Aroma of bread, orange zest, bubble gum, coriander, grapefruit and only a hint of the classic barnyard character. Taste of bread, orange zest, bubble gum, pepper and some citrusy and floral hops. Very carbonated with a light medium body. Refreshing. A perfect summer beer.

Birch and Barley, DC bottle: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is funky and herbal, honey, and just a tad fruity. Taste is slightly hoppy but mostly on the funky side. Quite herbal. Plenty of honey. Nice.
