750mL bottle poured into tulip glass (Belgian Independence Ommegang/Duvel). Dark brown with ruby tints. Big head that fades into surface covering lacing. Aroma: nonsweet baked goods crust - moderate. Light rustic and even spice (maybe peppery yeast). Flavor is similar with a very clean sweetness and light. What a nice treat of a beer. In need to get more from this brewery.
