This must be commonly available at home, but luckily, I bypass the foreign section in the stores in the US. Deep dark orange coloured body with a big hazy bronze glow and a thick, two centimetre tall pure white head - very nice. Aroma of bananas, grass, yeast, coriander seed and a lot of wheat - very nice and refreshing. Medium to Light-bodied; Sweet and smooth wheat flavour with a hint of sweetness, a lot of citrus and some curacao freshness, all coupled with the very elegant and fragrant yeast strain and some banana esters on the finish. Aftertaste is clean and simple as well, with the citrus, fruits and light sweetness all noticeable in a good way. Overall, a very nice german wheat from next door here in Austria and definitely worth sampling, especially where it doesnt have to come far from the source! I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Spar [Gourmet] in central Wien, Austria yesterday on 21-March-2016 for €0,89 sampled in my apartment hotel in the middle of Wien, Austria on 22-March-2016.

Hazy bright yellow with big white head. Aroma is mostly apple and banana. Some floral hops in the finish. Medium body with lively carbonation. Very drinkable and enjoyable. Re-rate, 900 ratings later (this was among my first 50 and got 4.4): I still think it is a really great Weizen. Aroma is lively esters, banana, yeast stuff, more fruits. Taste is sweet fruity stuff, with bitter yeasts and esters later. Very smooth and quaffable. As I said: great one.
