Brewed in honor of the 5th Annual Charm City Bluegrass Festival, which began in the brewery parking lot with 1,000 attendees and has grown to become the premier Bluegrass event in the Mid-Atlantic region, hosting 4,000 festival goers in the historic Druid Hill Park.

This charming saison is brewed with Citra, Huell Melon and a relatively new German hop variety called Grüngeist, the beer starts out with a great estery yeast hit on both the nose and the palate. It is quickly followed by a floral aroma and flavor that yields to balanced citrus and peach notes.

Draft at event at State Line. Fruit and lemon drop hops and crazy yeast with some pear. Low bitterness. A bit of a crazy concoction. Fine by me.

Florals and some light orange musk like you didn’t peel it very well. Pours golden with decent head. Sharp bitter finish with a little after tang. Tap at Whole Foods.
