Helder lichtgeel bier met schuim. Smaak is lichtzoetzuur maar heeft een vreemde bijsmaak die me niet bevalt. Neem dan gewoon witbier met een schijfje citroen, veel beter.

It was only a matter of time before AB InBev would come up with a sweetened fruit beer based on witbier, and in 2008 this was one of the results. Inspired by the fact that many people - unfairly - drop a slice of lemon in their witbier, this one is flavoured with both lemon and lime extracts. Thin, cream white, opening head, ochre blonde colour, hazy. Aroma of ’citroenjenever’, lime juice, wheat, orange, ascorbic acid and sugar. Strongly sweet taste with lots of carbonation but still fluffy mouthfeel, artificial and lemonade-like on a soft wheat base, dominated by the sugary lemon effect, bit cloying, thin finish, watery.

Bottle from Bier-Deluxe.de. Yellow color with small white head. Strong lemonade aroma. Taste, artifical lemon, sugar, candy. Bad.

Appearance: Hazy pale yellow color with an ok white head.
Aroma: Lemon.
Palate: Medium (-) body. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Lemon.
Overall impression: Ok when it is really hot.

Leicht trübes leuchtend gelbes Getränk mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch erfrischend nach Lemon. Geschmack nach Lemon, guter Durstlöscher, leider ohne Biergeschmack.

250ml bottle at home. Pours hazy lemon, smells like hazy lemon, tastes like hazy lemon. Has an artificial sweetener vibe going on. Nasty.

Frisk duft av hvete og sitron. Sitron gul farge. Lite skum. Frisk smak av sitron.

White, yellow, a bit white foam. Taste is watery and very artificial. Sweet like limonade but watery aftertaste.

i thought to myself, lets but some crap ! . a radler, i supose , withoud it being called that . drinking all 3 of the baddest things i could find, next to eachother . unratable hoegaarden rosee 0,0 ABV , and previously rated maes radler. all are can , 33 cl . smell is lemon . pours quite light and fuzzy yellow. almost , indeed , ’white’ . its slightly lighter than the maes radler . of course, the rosee is uncomparable in anything. its just also bad , thats why it could join this vertical . big foam ( though the can was shaked a bit ) that lasts quite long. subtile carbonation. soft lemon, bread-ish notes , also get much of the hoegaarden taste ( even though hoegaarden doesnt got that much taste to begin with ) where the maes is more harsh , this is more subtile, and in a weird way, more complex. No memorable diffrences to me , i’m sure, but when drinking these side by side they do taste a lot diffrent from eachother . its actualy pretty OK

Bottle 0.25l at home. Originally rated 25062012. Colour is yellow with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Citrus, fruits and water. Horrible.
