This is an amber ale with a persistent, light hazelnut colored head. Fruity and warm scents immediately invade the nose, harmoniously blending with the delicate herbaceous and citrusy notes of the hops. We find them again in the taste, along with the hints of cereals that are perceived with the very first sip. As the first sensations fade, a pleasant and very subtle peppery note emerges.

Mas Plenum @Vinocom, of course. :) Now, Baladin’s a solid brewery, and when they name something "Super Bitter", that’s what you expect. But nah. This poured a misty amber body. Spicy orange aroma, very light alcohol on top of some sweet maltiness, very light aroma hops perhaps. Sweet, soft, creamy malty taste with mild fruity aromatic hopiness again. Tasty but too light, and 35 IBU’s not that bitter, now is it?

Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy orange amber color with medium creamy tan-like head, plenty of floating particles and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of caramel, dried fruits, wood, vanilla and tropical fruits. Taste starts with light sweet but rich caramel malt, follows by dried fruits and yeasty acidity, firstly medicinal then warming spicy mouthfeel and mild bitter finish. Full body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Nice Belgian strong ale, still not fantastic...

Deep hazy amber color, almost copper, with medium white/yellowish head, slowly disappearing. Smell is yeast, some fruits like mandarine, apricot/peach. Taste reveal more maltiness, caramel, honey. Medium carbonation. From the name I expected more bitterness, so I suppose that the normal Super has to be very sweet. Anyway, a good beer, enjoyable.

Hazy deep nutty color with a fine tan head. Good lacing. Malty, fruity and some spices in the aroma. A bit sweet, and a bit oily. Caramel malty, fruity and some spices. Decent strong ale.

At a tasting, thanks YK23, long lasting big bubbly head, very cloudy deep orange colour, aroma of bread with citrus, fruits and some toastiness, flavour of candy sugar, yeastiness, root vegetables with hints of fruitiness and tea, almost no bitterness, light persistent sweetness. Plain and not too interesting.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks YK23. Cloudy amber. Aroma of stale hops, a bit of yeast and a bit of fruitiness. Sweetish flavor with some malt, a bit of fruitiness, a yeasty note and light stale hops notes. Medium-bodied. "Super Bitter"? Almost no bitterness here.
