May ’16. A 0.75 l bottle. It poured hazy golden to amber body with a small head. Sweetish toasted malt aroma, caramel, peach, raisins. Only lightly hoppy like citrus. Flavor was still on the sweeter side, toasted, especially caramel, vanilla, yeast, typically Belgian. Spicy as well, there were some cloves and pepper, too, with light citrus hop presence rounding it nicely. Medium to full body with high carbonation and a long, tingling sweetish finish that also showed light bitterness towards the very end. Very nice beer, well in style with Belgian ales, better they didn’t hop it up too much, achieving an excellent balance this way.

Flaska från Saveur Bieré. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, aprikos, honung, marmelad, brunt socker och plommon och annan torkad mörk frukt. Liknar en barley wine i smaken. Fin maltsötma, fruktig, rund och len, lätt beska.

330ml bottle into tulip. Found at Bardwell Park Cellars, Sydney. Caramel toffee on the nose. Opaque ’caramel sauce’ appearance with solid foamy white head. Champagne effervescence. Tingly and bitter like a grapefruit soft drink. Finish is fruity hoppy, alcoholic and red wine dry. Eccentric Italian version of a strong ale.

Mas Plenum stand at Vinocom Zagreb, 2014. Amber with some sediment. Sweet and syrupy. Full taste, nice finish, but not bitter at all.

Draught @ Baladin Bistrot, Milan. Pours hazy golden with a creamy offwhite head. Aroma of malt, light caramel, light buttery, grass, fruit. Flavor is malt, light sweet, caramel, nutty, grass, some fruity hops, little citrus, grapefruit. Medium body, soft carbonation, light sweet finish. 101215

[11/15] Bottle, 12C. Cloudy amber with a cream head. Aroma of toffee, dough, spices, citrus blossoms. Tiny whiff of boot polish. Medium bodied, creamy texture with moderate carbonation. Sweet with caramel and some prunes and a lightening - almost juicy - ruby grapefruit touch. Dries out just a little at the moderately bitter finish. (Eh, it creeps up after a time.) Lots of nice flavours but not very well defined - seems overly yeasty and maybe a bit tired. Disappointing. 7372 12 [3.1] A freebie from Cellarbrations @ Elsternwick - not the beer I thought it was ^2. Clear amber with an off white head that never quite disappears. Dough, toast, nuts, spices, plums. Not too sweet with a drying and bitter finish. Sure seems like all my complaints about the last one were answered. I wouldn't have minded a little more hop, but this was good. Gunna "average" the score, but 3.7 for this one.

Appearance: Medium brown, slightly hazy. Slight head.
Aroma: Dark fruit, raisins. Some malt.
Taste: Lots of dark fruit, raisins. Slight malt, slight alcohol. Very nice.

BB Giu 2016 (Giu == July?). amber hazy color, medium big off-white head. smells of (dried) fruits, raisins, plums, malt sweetness, a bit liqueurish, figs, some barrel notes. full body, little carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes malty sweet, dried fruits, plums, light wood, a bit liqueurish, citirc, oranges. finishes with oranges and, dried fruits and light alcohol. decent, tastes quite flat though, carbonation definitly would improve things. I think because of this the mouthfeel is also rather light and the alcohol is almost not noticeable.
