7 euros at Istanbul airport pours a dark brown with reddish hues. 1 finger yellowish creamy head. Nose is sweet with caramel aroma some burnt malts, fig and watermelon. Butterscotch taste and some more fig, raisin and sweet bread. Standard lager but the dark malts do help a little bit. Certainly not a $10 beer.

(Keg, 0.5 l - 5.5 % ABV - BB 290315, thanks Marduk, 20141231) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel and cough mixture. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, chocolate, cough mixture, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, harsh and bitter. There were some good things in this beer but the unpleasant ones hid them too quickly.

330 ml bottle. Pours a clear mahogany with a red hue and a small, tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and caramel. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel and a hint of coffee with a slightly dry, bitter finish. Medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

Can. Pours reddish brown with spongy tan head, low carbonation, caramel aroma, roasted malt and caramel taste, medium finish with caramel aftertaste. Not bad for a large scale Turkish beer producer.

Found in Istanbul. Pours a very deep black color, topped with a decent cream colored head. The aroma is very invotong. Lots of chocolate and caramel is easily picked up. The taste is pleasantly roasty, some little bitternes and caramel. Very enjoyable, so far by far the best beer here.

Has a nice dark burgundy body with a large foamy off-white head. The aroma is bread and cardboard, nothing too appetizing there. The flavour is a messy business of sweet off-cherry and a muddled watery finish. Not offensive, but pretty much missing the mark of a dark beer.
