Bottle, at Esbjerg Beerfestival. It’s a clear, amber beer topped by a small, off-white head. Cinnamon, some fruityness and caramel-ish malts. Caramel, cinnamon, allspice and some bitterness in the flavor. Medium body. Slightly bready in the finish, with caramel and some spices. There’s too much cinnamon her, else it’s a quite nice one. 091022

Fairly balanced aroma of spice (both cinnamon and nutmeg), barley, and fruit (pumpkin and oranges). A bit of creamed corn is there as well though. Clear chestnut, colored with a thin dissipating head. Caramel malt flavor, not terribly strong. Very light nutmeg and pumpkin finish.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a clear deep amber with a small, off-white head. Sweet aroma of caramel and cinnamon. Medium body, a little cinnamon and a vague ashy whiff. Lightly sweet fruit and an edge of cardboard. The finish is dry with a discreet bitterness. Heavily carbonated. 221009

Bottle at The Rake, Borough. Chestnut colour. Lovely colour in fact. Stale pasteurised aroma, some tomato sauce on aroma, some after shave spice. Oh god, this is poor. Mulled beer. Poor.

EsBF09. Perfumy spice aroma. Clear dark copper colour. Small white head. The flavour is spicy like the aroma, has some cinnamon/cardamum. Slightly burning finish, a bit like ginger.

Bottle. brown color. Pumpkin and ginger in the aroma. Sweet flavor with pumpkin, ginger, butter and a soft flowery hopbitterness. Sticky mouthfeel. Hints of citrus. perfumed aftertaste. Totally not my taste, I couldn’t finish my glass.
