The secret of the BRUGGE Tripel city beer is the unique composition of the “gruut” blend of herbs and spices used to enrich its flavour and aroma. In Bruges, anyone brewing beer was obliged to purchase “gruut” from the city’s herbs and spices shop, known as the “Gruuthuse”. Jan van Brugge and his descendents, who later changed their name to Van Gruuthuse, had a monopoly on the sale of Bruges “gruut” that lasted late into the 16th century. At the same time, taxes were levied to the Count of Flanders. In BRUGGE Tripel, this medieval tradition continues.

Bottiglia. Il naso riconosce indizi di alcolico. La finezza olfattiva è normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine, con qualche bollicina grande. Il liquido appare trasparente. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è elevata e permane in maniera sufficiente. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Al palato arrivano note di miele, pane, cracker, frutta secca, un accenno di resinoso, agrumi e spezie.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Bottle on 20th July 2024 from Brussels Zuid/Midi station. Pours hazy amber with shallow off-white foam and scant lacing. Spicy malt aroma with herby fruitiness. Spiced malt in mouth with tangy fruits and grassy herbiness. Treacle and spiciness blend with tangy fruits in the finish. Full bodied with an engaging texture.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianca fine pannosa persistente, color giallo oro limpido, al naso è super speziata luppolata fenolica erbacea lieviti belgi succo di pera zucchero filato banana lieve alcool, in bocca è ancora super speziata pesche sciroppate pera frutta candita note erbacee, corpo rotondo, carbonatazione decisa, l’alcool si sente non disturba, dolce e lieve acidula con amaro accentuato. Servida en tulipa, color oro anaranjado, turbia, copiosa corona de espuma blanco hueso bien retenida. Aroma intenso, con notas de fruta de hueso madura, piel de naranja, levadura, especias. En boca se muestra mayormente amarga de entrada, algo herbal y afrutada de fondo, robustamente especiada, potente, cuanto más atempera más se hace presente la sensación alcohólica, retrogusto bastante amargo. Una cerveza que sin ser mala mi cuerpo no me pide probar otra vez.
