330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Bright golden-brown body, remaining beige head, and clingy lacing on the glassware. Moderate smell of mid-sweet earthy malts, distant hints of smoke to it. Rich taste profile of apricot, plums, and caramel. Rounded malt-dried fruity tail with just a slight touch of whiskey. Dangerously easy to drink. Likable. (Tromsø 22.05.2020).

Zoet, bloemig, wat drank, wat eiken, wat appelmoes, beetje mandarijn. Zoet in smaak, sinaasappellikeur. Maar ook droog door koolzuur, beetje boozy. Niks mis mee voor de prijs

0,33 bottle.Transparent, filtered amber color, the foam is a half-finger, so long it stays in spite of high alcohol. It can be armed to the same size with one movement. Very delicate, honey, dried fruit cognac, raisin scent, speaks for itself. It tastes like we're really drinking a cognac that warms the palate and esophagus, just in the form of a delicious, spicy beer. Caramel base flavor, very complex dried fruit, bitter, yet sweet aftertaste at the bottom and two edges of the tongue. Carbon point hit. I was curious, but I was not disappointed! Masterpiece!

A szénsav pont eltalálva. Kíváncsi voltam, de nem csalódtam! Remekmű!

Small beige-ish head, irregular, fed by fine carbonation in pale orange-amber beer, leaving some lace. Musk, coloured malts, caramel, herbs, alcohol & fusels, some dry spices (curry?), immortelle. Slightly spicy, faint toasted & coloured malts, hints @ caramel, candi sugar. Bit leafy, autumn leaves; warming up, some human sweat. Slick, ever so slightly sticky, good carbonation. Medium bodied at least, very faint alcoholwarmth. Leaves an oily film on the mucoses. Not something I'd go crazy about, but compared to the so-called "Imperial Stout", it's a relief.

Bottle at home, picked up at Schiphol Airport I think, 17th January 2020. Pours clear amber. Aroma is caramel, dark fruit, malts, barrel and liquor. Taste is sweet, malty, light whiskey, dark fruits, smooth, warming and great for sipping by the fire. Enjoyable

0.75 l bottle from 'drankgigant.nl', bottled in February 2014 (1st batch I believe), cellared for four-and-a-half years. Almost clear, dark amber with an off-white layer. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity and slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of sultanas, prunes, whisky and a touch of molasses. Gently sweet, malty, slightly fruity and a bit yeasty-spicy taste of whisky, sultanas, prunes and vanilla, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, moderately boozy and a bit yeasty-spicy finish. Medium to full body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Really pleasant stuff, quite well-balanced, complex and hardly boozy. I guess it really benefitted from aging considering earlier reviews.

Bottle. Clear dark orange/amber with a short-lived white head. Aroma of caramel candy, raisins, sweet malts, sugar, yeast with hints of wood and vanilla. Taste is malts, sugar, wood, caramel, spices, dried fruits, vanilla and bitter oranges. Dry and bitter finish. Slightly alcoholic. Medium to strong carbonation. Nice one. It sure doesn't taste like whisky but gets me in the mood for more than just one little dram.
