750 ml bottle. Hazy orange body with a fast disappearing white head. Aroma is malt, yeast, spices and quite fruity. Flavor is sweet, mild malt, spicy, fruity and hint of fruity acidity. Nice body. A well made, pleasant Saison.

750 ml bottle bought @ Être Gourmet. Pours hazy golden with a rather small bubbly white head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace. Smell is slightly sweet, floral and dusty with white bread, lemon juice, hay, cloves, white pepper, barnyard, basil and lemon balm. Taste is tiny sweet and sour with lemon juice, grapefruit juice, lemon zest, lemon grass, wheat crackers and grapes. Mouthfeel is dry, tart and medium bodied. Finish is dry, sour and tart with lemon juice, hay, lemon zest and spices. Surprisingly sour and refreshing.

75 cl. bottle @ home / purchased @ Alvinne: A: amber fox orange with a white head / S: lacto, hay, barnyard funk, peach, yoghurt / T: bitter, slight, lemon zest, marmalade, orange yeast, hay, barnyard funk, bitter, lacto, funk, barnyard, yoghurt aftertaste / B: slight below medium cab / does taste infected in good old Fantôme fashion, after a while you sort of get into it, only Fantôme can actually release something like this

17/III/2012 - 75cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ "summer house" in the Ardens - BB: no markings on the side of the label to indicate a date (2012-243)
Cloudy amber to orange beer, creamy off-white to beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: butter milk, tart apples, honey, herbal, dry spices. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: tart apples, some tobacco, citric touch, dried fruits, bit vinous, little bitter, sugary. Aftertaste: slightly sour, tart apples, bit woody, a little geuze like. Infection on purpose or by accident? Don't know, but it gives a certain character to beer.

75cl bottle. No BB date on label.

750 ml bottle shared by beastiefan2k. Pour is hazed orange ruby, with a 1/2 inch white fizzy head. Aroma is light sweet strawberry, soft natural grain, along with a mild tart citrus. Taste is the straw grain, followed closely by the strawberry, which is lightly sweet, finishing with some of the Fantôme house yeast character. Palate is on the heavy side of medium bodied, though nice natural carbonation lifts it quickly making it quite drinkable. Pretty bizarre tasting beer, but in a fun way. Thanks for sharing Eugene.

750mL bottle from Cracked Kettle on my trip to Amsterdam. I shared this at a tasting yesterday. The beer pours a thick muted golden color. Small head. The beer is actually very mainstream for a Fantôme beer. Has a strong yeasty character that is akin to strawberries (take from Bill). That is the main element. There was a faint herbal character, not sure what to attribute that to. Has a thicker mouthfeel yet very easy drinking. Good stuff.
