2012 Vintage split 3 ways.
A - Bright red pour, looks mahogany and crimson in the glass
S - Nose is bursting with cherry, fruit and wood.
T - Acidic at the finish, not overly sour. Has more rotten cherry old moldy fruit taste. oak and wine tannic grape juice
M - Thin, oily and dry
O - Nice nose, the taste falls short. It’s not that old of a beer.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell - thanks to Eric. Pours hazy, pink-amber with a pink foam head. Gusher! Acetic berry aroma with definite vinegar notes. Light sweet flavor with overripe and musty berries, some bitter cherry pits and berry skins, alcohol, dry wood. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, lightly sour, with faint alcohol burn and bittersweet berries. Fair.

Bottle shared at Craft Clerko, big thanks to Eric for hauling this one over, 22/10/13. Murky dark amber with reddish hues completed by a thin off white covering. Nose is tarte sharp fruits, smoke, dank straw, light balsams. Taste comprises soured berry fruit, apple skins, earthy tones, light fruit balsam, lemon rind, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dank musty finale. Quality stuff, up there with the best in the style.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell. Hazed red mahogany, no head. Bottle was a bit of a gusher. Aroma is funk, light vinegar and cherry. Flavour is semi-sweet strawberry, and cherry and grape skin tanin. Light tartness. Everything in its right place. Fullish body.

Bottle - Very vinous and spicy with a bit of sourness. Cloudy orange and red with a thin head. Woody and sweet with some nice acidity and bitterness. A great beer that I think will get better with age.

Bottle, vintage 2009. Pours hazy dark orange with a slightly coloured finger thick head. Aroma is balsamic vinegar and oak, with lots of fruit and berries, cherries and vanilla. Full creamy body with soft carbonation. Fruity sour flavour with balsamic vinegar and oak barrels, as well as good whiffs of nuts.

Bottle thanks to Eric. It pours hazy reddish-amber with a small white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, strawberry, sherry, acidic, wood, coconut and vanilla. The taste is bitter-sweet, tangy, acidic, berry, musty, wood, vinous, light mould, alcohol warmth and toast with a tangy finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. I like the strawberry character on the nose. Pretty nice stuff.
