Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 23.08.15. Unclear straw colour. Diminishing and uneven white head. Tropical fruits and a hint of cp in aroma and taste. Good, with medium bitterness.

On cask at Hawkshead Beer Hall, Staveley - Clear orange body, thin white head. Lovely hop nose, bright tropical fruit character, hints of gooseberry, pineapple. grapefruit, orange peel. Refreshingly dry and juicy with a lovely pithy grapefruit bitterness that goes on and on.

Bottle. Booths, Ilkley. Murky, dark gold. Film of white head. Not a looker. Doesn’t drink that great, either. It’s like a beer that’s been stored too warm. I’d have to say that one or two of the beers I last got from Booths, have been like this. I don’t think this is how it left the brewery...

Cask at Crystal Palace (JDW) Glasgow. Cloudy orange/golden coloured, minimal but lasting white head, light hops in the nose. Moderate malty, citrusy hoppy and fruity with notes of spices. Light peachy hoppy notes in dry bitter finish. Nice brew.

From a 50 ml bottle purchased in Ocracoke NC. Pours a cloudy gold with an off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of lemon and orange with floral notes. Bitter finish. This is a fine pale ale.

On cask at the Beer Hall. Appearance - golden with a slight haze and a nice head. Nose - intense mango and grapefruit. Taste - loads more grapefruit with a touch of that sweet mango. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - the finish is almost too dry but still retains decent balance.

Keg at Tweedies Bar, Grasmere. Murky gold with a thin white head. Big citrus and floral hit with a very dry finish. Loads of hops here but lacked the depth and balance of ghe Hardknot Infra-Red I’d had just before, and maybe suffered by comparison. Still decent though.
