Żubr has a full body consisting of medium sweetness and smooth bitterness. A pleasant hoppy aroma combined with an accent of caramel.

Pours a clear golden color, topped with a nice white frothy head. Mild malty aroma, some grassy notes can also be picked up. The taste is sweet at first, some grains in there too, followed by a decent bitterness. Slight metallic aftertaste. Nothing offensice, just your average lager.

Direct from the bottle. Aroma of bread, rubber, rotten eggs, vegetables. Bready sweet taste with unpleasant hop note. Light to medium body. Hardly finished the bottle.

Something between a standard lager and a strong lager, with the European buffalo (which only survives in Poland nowadays) on the label. Very stable, snow white, creamy head, colour of ’old gold’ with nice fizz. Sweetish grainy and very corny aroma, biscuit, grass, rubber; neutral onset, minerals, quickly becoming very corn-like and malt sweet, ’cooked’ pasteurization very obvious in this one, sharpish carbo, weird faint saltiness and brief, weak hop bitterishness in the finish with a vague alcoholic warmth. I failed to find any redeeming aspects in this one, I’d even prefer some of the real Polish strong lagers over this.

Can. Beer looks cool with the bison. Taste is average. Grainy and mildly bitter. Not bad though.

Can, 0.50l, courtesy of Maurizio. Clear pale amber color with medium frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, bread, honey and grassy hops. Taste starts with moderate sweet bready malt, follows dry grassy with medium bitter finish. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. A bit above average Polish lager...

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear, golden orange colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma of malt and caramel. Sweet flavour of malt and caramel with a smooth, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with watery texture and soft carbonation. Not a fan of lagers, but this one is ok.
