Bottled. An unclear deep red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very acidic with strong notes of fruit as well as medium notes of berries. The flavor is very acidic with notes of fruit, berries, and wood. Thanks yngwie for sharing.

Cloudy amber with a small off-white head. Complex fruity aroma, with cherry, oak and leasther. Tart and sour, lots of wood flavour, a little candy sweetness and a lasting complex aftertaste

Batch #49. Pours reddish brown with almost no head. Aromas of sour cherries, sweet malt and oak. Nice and tart with flavors of cherries and a lot of oak. The beer is totally flat and lifelesss, the only negative aspect. I really like this brew and would have scored it about 0.5 points higher if it hadn’t lost carbonation.

Batch 49 Pours dark brown with a fleeting off-white head. Sour apple aroma, some molasses. Well balanced between the sweet and the sour with an acetic finish. Smooth and tangy.

Bottle. Brewed 10/10/06; batch 49. A bit gushy. Dark hazy brown color with an ephemeral beige head. Sour aroma of oak and fruit? Extremely astringent. Like really sour Dissident? Really full bodied with creamy carbonation. Finishes wonderfully and mediumly sour. One of the best sour beers I’ve had. Improves as it warms [credit that observation to Marcus]

Bottle from State Line Liquors - hazy burgundy beer - minimal head - an acetic kick hits the nose first, followed by oak and tart fruits (cranberry, raspberry, sour cherry) - medium-sour and very tannic - a bit of strawberry and cranberry - mellow funkiness underneath never completely comes to the fore - present but subtle oak - a little vinegary in the finish - this is a nice one.

500ml bottle shared by argoO. Cherry-red brown color, very thick. Sweet in-your-face sour cherry aroma. Thick mouthfeel, not unlike a Gluh-Kriek in some ways. Definitely the most sour Scandinavian beer I’ve had, the Rodenbach Grand Cru of the North. Tart but oh so enjoyable. Some solid oak flavors that mix well with the wild yeast. Non-intrusive alcohol balances right in. Wow, I love this beer. Thick mulled malt collides with sour. Blood red murkiness.

Bottle 0,5l. Dark red colored. Cloudy. OK sourish aroma. Complex sourish fruity flavor. Not my style, but I’m impressed by the brewery to produce something like this here in Norway. KI=1
