Pour is a bright orange with a foamy white head. Aroma is strong and fruity, I can smell it w/o bringing the glass to my nose. You can tell they made this with lots of coriander. Flavor is orange peel and maybe lemon peel mixed in. Loses points for its extreme tartness. Smells better than is tastes. Nothing really great in the end and damn expensive. The 11.5 oz. bottle cost me $4.

Hazy yellow, floating yeast particles. Good white head. Aroma is strong: spicey and sour, orange, not very pleasant. Flavor has orange peel spicyness but wheat dominates mouthfeel. Palate is not balanced, this one has some disturbing soapy notes. Aftertaste has orange (again).

Sampled at the Southside Beer Expo, and I see the Tanner boys have been beating me to rating them. That’s okay. Nicely fizzy and lemony. The citrus notes make it a little sour, like a Berliner Weiss more than a wit. But a very pleasing flavor.

Poured a cloudy peach color, with a thin off-white head and abundant, rather nasty-looking yeast sediment. Aroma of pear, pineapple, and other citrus- quite tart and sweet. Flavor is very sour and tart with lemon, pear, orange peel, and tangy wheat malt. Very fruity. Unusual for a witbier, yet good. I don’t find it too spicy, but if you don’t like tart beers, avoid Vuuve!

Orange cloudy body. No head. Yeasty, orange aroma. Lightly bitter aroma, moderately sour flavour. Less than average.

Fully hazy (end of bottle is pure yeast) orange-gold; no head. Citric nose, lemonbalm, slightly lactic, something vaguely medicinal. Spritzy acidic, overlying a very spicey-medicinal taste (mannah? paradise seed?) - not quite sweet, faint orange peel. Bit musty. Light, spritzy mouthfeel. Refreshing notes from the acidity are counteracted by the rather dull-musty medicinal flavours. I’ll never dig the witbier style. This one’s uncharacteristic (it’s Regenboog after all!), but it still isn’t my cuppa tea.

Cloudy colored but in the good way, not cloudy like a Bud. This is probably the most distinct belgian white I have ever tried, definitly worth a try by any beer lover. It has a strong citric kick. I wouldn’t drink this on a regular basis but I do recommend everyone to try it. Rerate 5/5/06 - oh boy, I compared this to a bud. Well this is definitly more sour than I mentioned. Liek citrus mixed with sourness. Medium nobody, feel that sourness for a while. I am lowering my rating just a bit.

Looks like cow urine, smells like lemons and oranges. Tangy, citrusy flavor, but lacking in anything interesting enough to make your tongue ask for seconds. This has a watery finish that leaves no trace of flavor on the palate what-so-ever. I won""t be getting this ever again.

Sweet and dry Witbier with a citrusy aroma. Medium head over hazy yellow-orange color, and I had some kind of residue at the bottom of the glass. Interesting.
