Can on the 9.13 SNG-WAT train split with JF, 30/03/13, from Brew Dog Online. Lightly hazed golden with a thin white head. Nose is caramel malts, pineapple, light piss, dank oranges, hops. Taste comprises bitter grapefruit, orange, touch pine, caramel, sugars, light butterscotch, banana notes. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, some bitterness in a dry finish. So so IPA.

Draft. Amber body with frothy off-white head, diminishing. Aroma of toasted grain, resin, grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Dusty grain taste got in the way of the hop flavor. Too bad because there were tastes of citrus, tropical fruits, grapefruit.

Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, hops, honey, light soap, lots of malts. Light sweet flavour, malts, honey, sweet touch, light bitter. Sweet, light bitter finish.
Not very hop-forward for an IPA. Might be that itโ€™s a bit older, but unfortunately I canโ€™t seem to find the date on the can.
(From 33cL can shared @ ZZT VI, Oirschot. Obtained via tderoeck. Thanks!)

355 ml. Can shared @ outside during lunch. Consumed straight from the can (as God intended it), slightly chilled by outside conditions. Couple of months old but not terribly old since it is from the same bunch as tderoeckโ€™s, I assume that the BBF was 6/2013. Lovely can design wise both the images as well as the shape of the can itself (I quite dig these breweries cans). Apparently brewed with aloha โ€“ intriguing. Mouthfeel is oddly creamy like a blend between wheat and coconut milk, quite peculiar. Is this just my can or all of these beers like these. This is enjoyable but weird. Carbonation is medium but slightly muted by the feel of this beer. Taste is creamy coconut, light spices, wheat, somewhat sweet with fruits, light citrus, plenty of malts, lots of white flowers small touch of grapefruit & citrus USA hops in the back, end lightly bitter in a floral fashion. Bit peculiar, is this the age or these particular can? Intriguing.

Can from Tomlinsons Beer Shop, Inverness 081212
Orange, slight haze, bubbly frothy head, good lacing
Aroma - Fresh mix of fairly mellow grassy hops and citrus hops, sweet juicy pale malts, soft tropical fruits
Taste - Mellow grassy hops, orange zest, citrus zesty hops, sweet pale fruity malts, some juicy hop resins, fresh flavour, well balanced
Palate - Soft carb, medium body. Fairly oily smooth texture, bittersweet palate. Good pithy fairly bitter zest finish with some sweet pale bit grassy malts.
Overall - Iโ€™m sure canning is better than bottled for IPAs - this tasted fresh. Well balanced tasty IPA.
