From a 750 ml bottle, 2013 vintage. Pours a clear dark amber with a healthy off white head. Aromas are of mixed pit fruits . Flavors are sweet toffee. Has held up pretty well for nine years.

Bottle, 750 ml at my bday Grande Tasting. Surprisingly this was a gusher. Malty, some nuts, dark fruit, bit vinous. Moderate sweetness and tartness. Lively carbonation. Medium bodied.

2014 vintage Big bottle, Christmas Day and Boxing Day 2021. Pours a red brown and fairly clear. Aroma is Sherry, dark fruit, vineous, wood. Taste is super complex, layered, vineous, wood, slight tart, no sign of the hefty ABV, dark fruits, drinks light, very enjoyable, and dangerous.

0.75 l bottle from former 'Bierzwerg' web shop, 2013 vintage, cellared for almost five years. Clear, ruby with a thin, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Slightly sweetish, gently fruity-vinous and a bit sourish aroma of red wine, oak, raisins, prunes and some caramel. Quite sweet, malty, gently fruity, moderately yeasty-spicy and a bit vinous aroma of chocolate, caramel, raisins, prunes, oak, some red wine and a touch of overripe banana, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, a little woody-tart, gently yeasty-spicy, quite vinous and a bit boozy finish. Medium to fully body, minimally astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Complex, sophisticated and moreish, a real gem, perfect for Christmas time, just great!

Corked bottle @ UDRM, Oirschot. Cognac and tropical dried fruit in the aroma and flavor. Fruity and lemony notes with brandy. A big beer.

750mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a medium beige head. Nose is very complex, with red wine barrels, wood, Belgian yeast, some candied sugar, and a touch of molasses. Flavour is equally complex, with a wonderful red wine barrels, Belgian yeast, deep dark fruits, and wood. Champagne-like mouthfeel, with higher-than-average, but totally fitting, carbonation. Wonderful.
