Bouteille 375ml de et partagée avec Pierre. Bottled on 05/2013.

Shortlived, very scant head despite hefty carbonation in a dull-hazy orangeish ochre beer. Spicy-sourish nose. Lactic acid, hint at acetic, coriander (mild), old grains or cookies, bit mineral (suggestion?), sourish celery. Coriander, again something vegetal not unlike celery or celeriac. Mineral and acidity not only lactic, but also much hinting at carbonic acid. Despite the acidic character, there is a hint of (vegetable?) sugar in the background. Feels indeed very carbonated; light bodied stretching to medium, wheat slickness. Weird - as expected. Reasonbly different from the German examples tried so far. A rare example of how even coriander can be used succesfully in a good beer. Many thanks to Delirium Claude and his crew!

Bottle - Salty lime. Cloudy yellow with a thin head. Lemon, lime salt and a bit of sourness. Absurdly refreshing and clean finish. Great.

Re-rate 3/12/16: Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Tom L. Hazy yellow. Nice lemon, wheat and coriander aroma. Tart and salty flavor. Refreshing. 7/3/7/3/14=3.4

[10/7/13] Bottle at Delirium Hoppy Loft in Brussels. Cloudy honey color. Wheaty aroma with lemon and coriander, a bit like a good Shandy. Mildly sourish flavor, wheaty, lemony, with light saltiness and mild spiciness. Rather light-bodied. Quite refreshing. 6/3/7/3/14=3.3

341 ml. bottle @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Gorgeous bottle design much like their other labels. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Lightly sour taste with lemon zest, apples, flowers, sweetish yeast, lime juice, light fruits and restrained lactic character. Finish carries clear saltiness which if I understand correctly should not be tasted in a correct traditional example with the salt lending a mineral touch but no actual salty taste as here. Body feels surprisingly full for the ABV, soft white bread feel. Rather quaint beer but in a nice way.

Aroma is very acid with cider vinegar notes mixed with coriander and lemon. Liquid is full of particles, muddy, white colored with gold glints. Head is very sparkling, average thickness and kind of long lasting for that style of beer. Taste: Nice and smooth lime and lemon accents. We can also feel coriander and salt doing a good job. Kind of smooth for an acid beer. Texture is thin and watery. A good replacement to lemonade by a warm and sunny day.

Single brown bottle from a local IGA. Pours a hazy golden colour with a frothy, slight off-white head, that fizz-away slowly and leaves a bit of soapy lacing. Smells a little sour at first pour, but then, lots of citrus lime aromas come out with some nice spices. The taste starts on a sour note as well, but again, very well-blended with the hints of lime and very mild spices. Becomes very cloudy near the last pour. Quite an interesting brew, that goes well as a summer quencher. One of the best brewed light beers I have tried (that does not give you the image of a mass-produced one). P.S. Photo from a fresh 2026 can tasting.

Tap: Poured a cloudy beige color ale with a medium size foamy head. Aroma of salt with light tart wheat malt notes Taste is a mix between some salt notes with light tart wheat notes and some light coriander notes. Body is quite full considering the low ABV with good carbonation. Quite refreshing though maybe a tad too salty for my taste buds.
