Blessed be! Our ridiculously big, hoppy I.P.A. returns to the rapturous exaltations of worshippers far and near.
Featuring Simcoe, Amarillo, and Columbus hops at an unheard of rate of over three pounds per barrel, with American pale and Belgian caramel malts providing a malty but dry pedestal upon which this hop fest rides until its long, lingering,hop-bittered finish. Beware this vengeful, Old-Testament God. Say your prayers…

Bottle from Ølbutikken, bought in November 2012. Batch 01, bottled 06/2012. Reddish amber with a creamy, white head. Not extremely hoppy neither in the aroma or taste. Malt, fruit, resin and some grass. On the sweet side. Very bitter.

Bomber bought @ Bierkompass.de. Pours hazy brownish red with a creamy brownish beige head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of trace on the glass. Smell is sweet, malty, fruity and hoppy with sweet dark bread, tropical fruit hard candy, caramel, pineapple, mango, thai basil, dill, honey, alcohol, dusty oak flakes, resinous wood, toffee, pine and moist grass. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter, malty, fruity, herbal and hoppy with dark bread, caramel, grapefruit juice, pineapple, rye flour, tropical fruit taffy, orange peal, lemon zest, freshly cut grass, resinous wood, alcohol, oily pine and Hints of dark honey. Mouthfeel is round, slightly soft, tiny boozy, tiny astringent and medium to full bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and very bitter with caramel, oily pine, grapefruit rinds, pineapple, resinous wood, orange peal and hints of alcohol. A pleasant east coast IIPA.

65 cl bottle. Batch 01: bottled 06/2012, 9%.
Aroma is quite similar to sheets out of the washing machine. Also some resin and caramel malt. Flavour has lots of resin, some hops and vanilla. Also distant woody notes. Too sweet but decent anyway. I like the resiny notes here.

Batch #1 bottled Jun/2012 - Pours dark brown with a foamy head. Aroma of fruity hops, grass, caramely malts and hints of toffee. Taste is malty, fruity and caramely with hints of grass and toffee. FInish is sweetish and malty with some grassy fruity notes. Okay, a bit unbalanced IIPA.

650ml bottle. Minimally cloudy dark amber/copper colour with average, firm, frothy to creamy, lasting, fairly lacing, off-white head. Slightly spicy and heavy citric aroma, caramel malty basis with muggy touch. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, citrussy, minimally biting constant bitter hoppy note with a herbal touch. Not overly complex, virtually monotonous in taste, but a well balanced beer.

Hopfiger, schwer würziger Start. Dunkle, etwas klebrige Malznoten, Kräuter, der Hopfen gleibt konstant. Vollmundig, wenig süffig. Süß karamellig, konstant wie flüssiger Hopfen. Schokoladiges Finish. Ein gutes und intensives Bier, das durch seine Harmonie besticht. 9/11/9/12/11/13
