A refreshing light and hoppy ale. Probably our best allrounder. Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Ideal with barbequed or smoked meat dishes.

Bottle. Cloudy amber with next to no head. Has a juicy citrus bitterness but quite a dry finish.

0.33l bottle shared in Damian during tasting. Clear golden color with low white head. Aroma: grapefruit, muddled, oxidized hop. Taste: blood orange, grapefruit, pale malt, caramel, sweet. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate bitterness. Quite dull and disappointing, I expected much more.

Aroma 7. Appearance 4. Taste 7. Palate 4. Overall 15. Citrus and hops aroma. Bitter taste, not to sweet. A bit unexpected smoked aftertaste. A good one.

Appearance- amber and slightly murky, bubbles rising, a one-finger off-white head which lasts. Aroma- sweet malt, citrus fruit, zesty lemon, orange, pineapple, fresh fruit. Taste- bitter hops, mango, pineapple hints, fruit juice, citrus, good malt backbone, bitter hop resin, creamy clingy mouthfeel.

Pure white frothy head stayed well on a hazy, dark lemon coloured, finely carbonated, body. Citrus, lemon & yeast aroma - similar to a Saison. Medium to thin body. Tingly on the palate, dull & dry on the back. Fruity tastes of bitter/sweet citrus, spices, yeast, & a tangy finish.

Bottle. Nose is very yeasty, pronounced mineral. Taste is mineral, yeast, cereal, citrus bite. It’s ok, I’m not convinced about the conditions of this bottle.

2016 catch up - Bottle at home - It was a generic pale ale. It was nice and had a good kick of alcohol alongside hops and a smoothness, but not much else to set it out fromt he rest of the pack.
