Sampled from tap at the brewpub. Hazy, brownish amber with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity and a bit spicy aroma of caramel, brown sugar, some nuts and slight hints of dark fruits. Sweetish-malty, moderately yeasty-spicy and minimally fruity taste of caramel, nuts, some honey, clove and some dark fruits, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice!

Bottle at Den Turk, Gent, Sunday 18th October 2015. Pours a murky brown colour with creamy textured slim head. Sweet at first, it’s soft in the mouth a little bit thin, caramel and spices dominant amongst the key flavours. Fruit and tangy with a light nuttiness. Ok. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2
