33 cl bottle thanks to Johan and Åsa (not on ratebeer). Sampled on December 26, 2013. BB 06/11/14.Hazy brown color, fairly big tan head. Sweet, cream, herbal, berry scent. Herbal, spicy, oranges, Romerska Bågar, light bitter taste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness.Nicest beer of the 5 we tried from this brewery this evening.

Bottle, 11C. Mid brown with a pale beige head that fades to a coat. Aroma of prunes, dough, toasty caramel, spices. Sweet with dried fruit, brown sugar, dough, a little chocolate. Dries out nicely towards the end where there’s spice and modest but insistent bitterness.

Pours dark brown with a quickly fading head.Nose shows brown sugar, figs, plums, fruit cake and golden syrup. Nice!Somewhat similar flavours, but less complex. Quite sweet, big brown sugar and golden syrup notes along with a little fruit.Body feels watery. Too highly carbed too.

Pours hazy dark amber/brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, fruits, yeast and hint of chocolate. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Tap sample at the brewpub. Clear dark amber/brown colour, off-white head. Aroma is quite sweet, caramel, light spicy, dark fruits. Flavour is also quite sweet, malty, caramel, spicy, dark fruits, liquorice, hint of toast, sweet finish. Smooth and soft mouthfeel, but too sweet. Medium-bodied.

Flaske fra Belgisk Bryg, delt med Egil: nydelig, typisk sødmefylt dubbelaroma. Fyldig og behagelig smak, umulig å si at der ikke er brukt humler. Iflg bryggeriet er det urter og nøtter. Meget interessant opplevelse. Må prøve de andre fra dette bryggeriet!

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Traverse, Utrecht. Dark brown with a nice big creme head. Malty caramel aroma. Taste is bittersweet with some noticeable cherries and chocolate. long lasting aftertaste with some alcohol warmth. Good beer.
