I like the original glass that comes with it very much. The beer itself is fine. Smell is not too great, but the taste makes up for it.

Re-rate June 21st 2013. [Original rating: 7-4-8-4-15=3.8] Bottle @ Cafe Buitenlust, Oirschot. Clear golden color, full sized white head. Very weird aroma of butter and sweetness. I’ve drunk this beer plenty of times though it’s been a while since last time, but I have absolutely no memory of this aroma. Taste also has a bit of that buttery flavor, grains, malts, lightly wort, some sweetish grainy malty flavors and a slight bitter finish. Old bottle maybe? Nothing like I remembered it... I would now only rate it around a 2.6 probably, but I suspect it’s just an old bottle, so I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt and go a bit higher. Didn’t enjoy it like I used to though.

Bottle. Poured cloudy gold with thick white head. Complex aroma of cedar, orange and honey. Full bodied, roast bread and honey notes with citrus spikes. Fizzy citrusy finish.

Bouteille: Hazy, rather quickly collapsing off-white head; mainly zesty and caramelly-bisquity nose, some peppery hops underneath plus a tinge of alcohol; solid sweet flavour with a light tartness, medium bodied; sweet orangey and bisquity finish with a light tartness and an alcohol-burn in the aftertaste. Strong and boring........

A little cloudy orange to hazel coloured beer. White creamy adhesive head. Aroma holds fruits, hops. MF is ok, nice carbon, medium body, creamy texture. Taste is fruity, a bit sweet alcohol, touch of pineapple and hops. Aftertaste is fruity and dry. Again notes of pineapple and some spices.

I’d say it’s a perfect pour into a chalice - big head, slowly growing even as I type this, excellent orange colour. Aroma of lemon, hops, and alcohol. Taste is a lot of malt, alcohol sting, some hops. Drinkable Belgian but hard to differentiate from so many others.
