Bottle with Craig, I picked this up at Dranken Geers, March 2010, consumed at my gaff, day two tasting 09-04-10 First thoughts on this were mouthwash, I don’t mind mouthwash and fortunately this wasn’t the sort that numbed your tongue as well, still it was strange. Soft and very perfume like, lavender, some mint, quite herbal really. This is the sort of beer to drink between beers to refresh and cleanse your palate, its fine stuff but very strange. 750ml bottle pours a translucent, hazy, straw gold with a thin white head. Grassy aroma, pale malts, white pepper, pears, a little medicinal with a hint of boot polish. The flavor is peppery, grass, light lemon, a bizarre, unique spiciness that no one could figure out. Reminded me of a wormwood beer I had, medicinal, but apparently that was the effect of the oregano. Finish has a light sting of bitterness while otherwise dry.

bottle at fins ... hazy yellow ... nice peach fruity nose ... almosty minty odd mouthwash ... floral hop... there a herb or somthing oddd here ... definite lavander ... not unpleasent but very oddd

Bottle from Dany at the brewery in Soy. Slightly hazy orange, edge head, some lacing. Aroma is soapy, malty, light spice. Taste is slightly bitter, decent body, decent hops, light spice.

Slightly hazy golden with a firm and lasting white head. Refined fruity aroma with a touch of banana and mild herbal notes. When you know it’s oregano you can identify it. Dry and herbal flavour and quite bitter. Pretty clean for a Fantôme

Bottle @ Carlsens Kvarter, Odense. Pours deep and unclear orange with a stable white head and lacings. Nose is herbs at first. Some oregano, yeast and mint. Dry and very inviting. Full bodied. Smooth. Balanced and dry flavor with yeast, dough and grain on top of the herbs. Dry end. Very tasty Fantome.

A hazy orange amber ale with a thin receeding off white head. A pleasant sweet flower and honey aroma, with light yeasty notes. In mouth, a sourish malt with light lemony notes, wheaty, nothing special. 750 ml bottle from Bieropholie, tasted June 21, 2009.

Bottled (Pikkulintu, BBE 2014), Hazy amber color, small white head, floating yeast particles. Pencil-woody aroma with light sour note and some fruits. Very sour flavor, some oregano notes, some lemon. Interesting, different Fantome. Beer #5600!

Bottled@Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is oregano, tomatosauce, alcohol, and yeast.Flavour is just tomato sauce with some extreemely sweet spices and garlic fried. Shit for flavour. Not in a beer.

(Botte at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2009-03-27) Orange and hazy. Small white head. Fresh oregano, sourness and black pepper in aroma. Medium bodied and dry palate with medium carbonation. Sourness, fresh oregano, black pepper, fruitiness and light bitterness in taste. Black pepper and fresh oregano in aftertaste.
