Bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Crissier
Hazy reddish amber color. It has the classic funky aroma of BFM, maybe just slightly milder than usual. Good body strength; it has good malt and caramel flavor, with no evident wheat, but an interesting peppery and coffeish note in the final. Very good, solid, interesting.

Hazy brown body with an off-white creamy head. Very well balanced aroma of hops, flowers, ... Heavily bitter, lightly sweet flavour - bit caramel. Well balanced beer, maybe somewhat one dimensional.

Slightly hazy brown red colour, off-white head. Quite spicy aroma, malts, bitter and sour notes (reminding somewhat of caramelised Belgian endive -witlof-), slight caramel sugar tone. Flavour somewhat bitter, slight sweetness, malts, light coffee bitter touch, quite a bit of citrus. Spicy finish with citrussy hops. Nice one.
(From 75cL bottle @ RBBWG, Antwerpen. Thanks to sebletitje for the bottle)

Sampled @ RBBWG Antwerpen. Courtesy of Sebletitje. Cloudy dark orange color, small off-white head. Smell is a little weird and hard to describe. Taste is pretty nice: slightly roasty, slightly sour hints and some hops. Doesn’t taste like a weizen bock to me. Nice mouthfeel, decent carbonation, medium body.

75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBWG 2012 – thx to sebletitje – hazy orange amber with a thick creamy white head, smell is thick & bitter orange & grapefruit, very fruity hop goodness, taste is thick fruity orange peel & grapefruit hops, lots of flower nectar, slight herbal, sweet spices, delicious thick wheat, hop goodness, would have picked this for an IIPA honestly, damn fine one //// had this one again on tap @ CML Fontainas but cannot find my notes of that but it was insanely differe,t other than usual fruit & flavour flavours, not much I can recall of what it was exactly like

75 cl bottle @ RBBWG 2012, Antwerpen. Got this bottle via trade, thanks Rémi.

Good, stable cream to amber head over hazed orange-brown beer. Spiced, yeasty notes. Nutmeg, wild fruits. Bitter-spicy-fruity-wheaty - God! Marvellous balance, nearly unparallelled. Bitter like rootspices and a touch of coffee, spices as nutmeg, fruit maybe redcurrant, whilst the finish is pure orangepeel. Medium to well-bodied, extremely slick. Simply excellent.
