Gehaltvoll, wuchtig und voll im Geschmack. Ein wahres Fest für die Geschmacksnerven. Im Mund geballte und durch Eleganz gebändigte Kraft. Feiner, würziger Nachklang mit einer Karamellnote.

0,5 l bottle, screw lock. 7,2 % alc listed on the label. Funny label picture. Dark red brown with a mighty head in the glass. Mash and dry grain in the nose. Starts grainy, hints of burned plastic. Light sweetness, longer lasting dry grainy notes. Alcoholic malty. Light sourness in the background. Not so sticky as some other german Dunkel Bock.

Bottled (screw cap), medium sample. Clear ruby color, short brown head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, butterscotch, some grassy hop. Bit bitter taste, some sugary sweetness. Mediocre german brew.

500 ml screwcap bottle, from a border shop near the German-Danish border. ABV is 7.2%. Deep brown colour, large off-white head. Moderate but nice aroma, notes of brown bread, a hint of caramel. The flavour is less sweet than some other German dark bocks, with notes of brown bread and caramel again. A little hops in the finish. Very drinkable.
