Gehaltvoll, wuchtig und voll im Geschmack. Ein wahres Fest für die Geschmacksnerven. Im Mund geballte und durch Eleganz gebändigte Kraft. Feiner, würziger Nachklang mit einer Karamellnote.

(bottle) Clear and dark ruby colour with a steady foamy off-white medium head. Dense light-sweet malty aroma with caramel. Moderately sweet malty flavour and taste, slightly roasted with notes of caramel and dried fruits, well-balanced bitterness in the lasting finish. Engelbräu, Crailsheim is definitely not my favourite brewery, but they are good in doing Bocks.

Clean dark amber color. Caramel aroma and strong caramel taste, with some residual sweetness and too high alcohol perception. Only at the end it’s more bitter. Ordinary.

Bottle: Clear amber coloured, mid-sized beige head, longer lasting; sweet malty nose, traces of roasted malts and raisins; mild sweet malty body with a faint bitterness; mainly toffee-like finish; well hidden alcohol; quite well quaffable, but quite simple.......

An amber beer with a light brown disappearing head. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of straw and caramel as well as hints of alcohol. The flavor is of roasted malt, caramel and straw in the middle, and the warmth of alcohol in the end.
