330ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange amber colour, foam white head leaving some lacing and aroma of citrus, tropical fruits & hop resin. Taste is caramel malt with tangy grapefruit & orangey citrus, pine resin and warming smooth bitterness. Oily mouth feel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, boozy dry earthy grassy bitter finish. Very drinkable, well balanced lovely DIPA.

8/VI/13 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 2/VIII/13 - bottled: 2/IV/13 (2013-546) Thanks to Nicki and Mike for transporting the bottles!
Little cloudy orante to pale amber beer, creamy irregular off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: bit piny, resinous, some citrus, pineapple, ripe mango, little cheesy. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: some citrus, bit sweet, malty touch, grassy, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: alcohol noticeable, citrus, lots of grapefruit, bitter, bit floral, alcohol sweetness. Good beer, but a bit too alcoholic.

Bottle from Beer Hive, Edinburgh [310513]
Amber, hazy, big frothy white head, good lacing
Aroma - Big fruity aroma, tropical fruits, grapefruit pith and juice, very zesty, loads of citrus, nice light fruity malt, fresh and vibrant, good balance of hops and malt
Taste of rich fruity citrus, juicy fruity malts, grapefruit, tropical fruits, zesty fresh hops, sweet fruity malt background, some alcohol heat though that gets bit boozy after a while, touch of fruity caramel but not too malty for the abv which is good, sweet fruity resins....I think I’d prefer less alcohol though
Palate - Medium carb, medium to full body, sweet oily palate, bit sticky, resinous palate, smooth. Finish as main flavour with a touch of alcohol burn.
Overall - Great flavour, but it ’s a tad too boozy. I prefer the normal Citra IPA,

Bottle from Brewdog Leeds, transported home and poured into a teku glass. Slightly hazy gold with a big, white long-lasting head. Big grapefruit nose, with a hint of sweetie shop. Taste is more grapefruit astringency, touch of pear, and some malt sweetness. Finishes in to next week. Big, but smooth double IPA.

330ml bottle [9.7% abv]. Cloudy golden colour with small to average, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Superb and intense citrusy hop aroma with a herbal touch, pine, grapefruit, mango, tangerine, orange peel. Taste is minimally bitter hoppy, excellent fruity notes of mango, peach, grapefruit, some pine, a herbal touch; long lasting finish with a sweet, spicy, minimally peppery carrot note, well hidden alcohol (except for its agency). A fruit bomb with astonishing easiness. Wow!

Draft. An unclear golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of lemons, hops, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, straw, malt, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.
