Bottle, bought sept.2020, bb.sept 2021, tasting sept.2022. Burgundy color with sediment, offwhite head. Flavor of earthy roasted malts, wood, raisins, caramel/toffee, a prominent bitter-tannic woody note leading to a bitter finish while the body on its own is quite juicy. Alcoholic punch as it warms up.

Amber beer, decent white head but it soon thins out. It's basically just a fairly traditional strong ale. Some caramel, malt, a dash of fruit, some hop and boozy warmth. Pretty decent.

33cl bottle from Auchan Market in Luxembourg. F: medium, tan, average retention. C: dark coppery, hazy. A: rich malty, caramel, bit toffee, grapefruits, berries. T: full malty base, toffee, bit citrus, woody, red berries, caramel, bit vinous, decent bitterness, medium carbonation, very nice, fully enjoyed.

Bottle from Cornelius. Clear golden body with a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel, copper and earth. Flavour of fig and rust. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. It’s slightly sharp but the flavour is interesting. Enjoyable.

Bottle, poured brown orange cloudy. Full body. Dark fruit and sake aroma. Malt and prune alcohol taste, sour finish. Unusual and interesting.
