We built our first brewhouse using recycled dairy equipment. We had to test our handywork, so we loaded it up with a heavy, dark Stout. That first batch was a 13-hour labor of love, and when we sipped the first bottle, we knew we had a keeper. With a nod to the West Coast, we balance Stout’s deep, roasted malt flavors with earthy, whole-cone hops.
Creamy, malty, and full-bodied, the Sierra Nevada Stout is satisfyingly rich. Caramel and Black malts give the Stout its deep, dark color and pronounced roasted flavor.

Classic west coast stout. Lotsa C hops, mild bitterness, very well balanced with the mild roast. Very drinkable. Craftbiershop

Bottle. Beautiful dark black with an enormous beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, some coffee, dark fruits and citric innuendo. Taste follows aroma plus espresso and even more fruity hints of citrus fruits. Long lasting bitterness. Medium carbonation. Great mouthfeel. Very balanced. Great.

Nearly completely black with a 2cm porous but persistent tan head. Dark burnt toast malts in the nose with notes of caramel and coffee. Intensive almost burnt espresso with sugar with long lingering burnt coffee note in the mouth. Tiny bit too burnt but still drinkable.
