We built our first brewhouse using recycled dairy equipment. We had to test our handywork, so we loaded it up with a heavy, dark Stout. That first batch was a 13-hour labor of love, and when we sipped the first bottle, we knew we had a keeper. With a nod to the West Coast, we balance Stout’s deep, roasted malt flavors with earthy, whole-cone hops.
Creamy, malty, and full-bodied, the Sierra Nevada Stout is satisfyingly rich. Caramel and Black malts give the Stout its deep, dark color and pronounced roasted flavor.

35cl bottle at Beach Club, Oslo. Pours clear, close to black with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt with notes of chocolate, malt, dark fruits and hints of herbs and caramel. Medium sweet with nice roasty aromas and a pleasantly bitter finish. Nice one!

Negra, con bonita espuma morena, consistente y duradera. Grano tostado en el aroma, con algo de chocolate. Mucho cuerpo, y excelente combinación de chocolate, caramelo y malta tostada en boca. Bien lupulada y con final seco (en conjunto más seca que dulce). Notable.

12 ounce bottle. Barely translucent black brown color topped by a large rocky beige head. Roasted malt nose. Flavor is more roasted malt with notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Slightly sweet with a touch of burnt caramel in the middle. Spicy hops in the finish. Nicely balanced and a nice cross between a sweet and dry stout. A classic American Stout.

Old rating. Bottle from Old Town. Pours a nice mahogany with a soapy beige head. Nice hop aromas along with cocoa powder, molasses, coffee and fig. Taste is more of the same with a nice bitter finish. Creamy mouthfeel.
