Sunny, blonde color and aromatic fruitiness.
A perfect harmony between the barley and wheat provides the typical cloudy and the specific and fruity aroma. At the end of the cooking process in the brewing room, the spice mixture of, among others, coriander and citrus fruits is added.
Not brewed with unmalted wheat like all other white beers, but with 40% unmalted barley and with a secondary fermentation in the bottle. That is precisely why the label mentions 'Gerstewijn'. The secondary fermentation takes ten days in a heated room with a constant temperature of 22 ° C.

Bottle, hazy yellow colour, white foam. Citrussy and tart, very watery, no long aftertaste but not very bad.

Bleek - geel, beetje troebel bier met bloemig aroma. Beetje zuur, licht sprankelend in de mond. Smaak is erg vlug weg.

Strange take on the witbier style, because brewed with unmalted barley (hence the "gerstebier" on the label). Off-white, thinnish head over a hazy golden blonde beer, grainy and fruity aroma, spiciness, citrus peel, coriander as ever in this style, refreshing with slight bitterness in the finish. The special recipe is not reflected in a special character, but a good thirst-quencher like all witbiers.

Average Belgian witbier. Wheaty body, fruity nose and all, it just remains a bit flat and boring.

Pours hazy yellow with a small, frothy, white head. The aroma contains wheat, hops, citrus and spices. It tastes medium fruity sweet, light bitter and light sour. Shortish, dry finish, quenching. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. A bit disappointing. (Edited 5/6/17)

Cloudy pale yellow colour, minimal off-white head. Fresh somewhat sour aroma, grass, barnyard, coriander, ginger, citrus. Sweet and sour taste at first followed by a bit more bitterness, light to medium body, sticky texture; refreshing slightly bitter finish.
