Sunny, blonde color and aromatic fruitiness.
A perfect harmony between the barley and wheat provides the typical cloudy and the specific and fruity aroma. At the end of the cooking process in the brewing room, the spice mixture of, among others, coriander and citrus fruits is added.
Not brewed with unmalted wheat like all other white beers, but with 40% unmalted barley and with a secondary fermentation in the bottle. That is precisely why the label mentions 'Gerstewijn'. The secondary fermentation takes ten days in a heated room with a constant temperature of 22 ° C.

The aroma is dominated by coriander combined with other spices. The color is yellow and it has a white disappearing head. The flavor is spicy and very fresh with notes of coriander and hops, but the body is thin.

Absurdly high white head, slowly collapsing above pale yellow-green, slightly (cold)hazy beer. Nose with chalk, sweetened milk, grain, candi sugar, faint spice (coriander?). Quite sweet taste, lactic as milksugar (lactose), vague lemonpeel flavour, not bitter. In the finish, the taste truns to a rather surprising cocosmilk flavour. Light to medium bodied. vague spicey-grainy aftertaste, not unlike but different from wheatbeer. A nice, less spiced variation on the witbier theme.
