16oz can. Not a black IPA but a moderately hopped porter. The not acidic or acrid roast malts take the spotlight. American fresh hops black back up role easy to drink. Flavor is a dry, bitter bark flavor. Light body. A bitter hop aftertaste. Hops spike a bit with pine but a general light American hop feel. Aroma is light roast, light cola and light hops. Black body with a big tan head.

Very nicely done. Lots of roast amd chocolate with some lime. Black pour with great head and lacing. Bittersweet finish. Some pine. Tap at Mountain State brewing in western Maryland.
