Don’t break out the textbooks, we’ve got this one: Humulus Lupus? Hops. The Bridge Brew crew paired up with Digital Reletivity to formulate this ever-so-bitter brew. BBW’s artisan chemists broke down the elements to methodically mix up this sharp, earthy taste. Then, marketing engineers at DR calculated equations to make this hearty, hoppy IPA a hit. Science, from brew to bottle!

16 oz aluminum bottle poured into a tulip. Gusher! Hazy yellowish orange with off-white head. Aromas of pineapple, tropical fruit, citrus, floral notes, grass, some skunk. Tastes of bitter floral, bitter citrus peel, some caramel or honey. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

You know, selling a pint sized aluminum bottle for 5-6 dollars isn’t a way to get cost-conscious beer geeks like me to buy it. However, when you are driving through West Virginia looking for ticks, this is a better option than the $13 six-pack. Small win for this brewery. Despite the shitty price and the fact that pint sized aluminum bottles sweat more than a fat guy in Houston, I am glad I got this beer. Its surprisingly good. Its sort of a lighter version of newest style of IPAs. Pour is yellow against the backdrop of my laptop. Aroma is that fresh squeezed citrus hop juice but not as pulpy or thick as the typical Tree House beer. Sort of lighter or more sessionable take on the style. Flavor has some bitterness pop out which attenuates the citrus juice. I went in very skeptical but came out happy with this beer.

Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a hazy pale yellow color with an enormous foamy yellow-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet and yeasty with tangy and tart fruity and citric hops. The flavor was bitter, tart and tangy with citrus and herbal notes. Medium length finish. Medium body. Pleasant.

Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum bottle poured into a snifter. Clear pale yellow with very small white head. Aroma is tropical fruit/grassy hops, light body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is light tropical fruit, sharp grassy hops, and earthy.
