On tap, Der Pschorr, Munich, Viktualenmarkt. A hazy copper color, yeasty aroma, and refreshing taste with some banana and citruses. Refresh.

Bottle. Light amber with a small head. Aroma of dried fruit. Flavour is light caramel with a fizzy wheat base and a velvet texture. Palate is quite dry.

Bottle. Hazy amber, large light beige head. Aroma of caramel, bananas, cloves. Modestly bready mouthfeel. Taste is only moderately sweet, but much more caramel notes than usually found in a Hefeweizen. Some banana and citrus, rather more cloves and white pepper. The caramel flavour is interesting but detracts from the refreshing side of things a bit. Nice spicy finish though.

Typical hefeweizen, but a bit above average. Very nice mouthfeel. Not overly sweet to the nose and mouth. Nice colour.

clear caramelly brown, smooth beige head. old hops (this bottle is 1.5 years after its bbf), banana, faint caramel. faint sweet ripe fruity, quite smooth palate. flavor is pretty amazing given the age.

50cl Swingtop bottle from De Bierkoning. Murky light amber colour, creamy white head. Aroma of wheat, sweet banana, pear and a bit of clove. Flavour is sweet, yeasty, banana, light dry finish. A bit cloying imo. Light to medium bodied.
