tap at Montana Ale Works in Bozeman. Pretty nice, high powered American Strong - or more like IPA imo. great beer

Copper, amber color. Draft. A little aged barrel character. Malt driven with hop asscents. Low bitterness. Very tea malts. Nondescript hops. Seems like a waste of hops, barrel and malts. Separately ffine but together I have no idea what they wanted Just a mish mash of parts that do not coalesce.

On tap at the taphouse boise. pours out a copper golden topped with a white head. nose is lots of wood oak sweet toffee malts and a floral hop. taste is more of the heavy barrel notes some wax and a caramel honey sweetness. Odd and not so good.

On Tap Slightly hazy orange amber. Soapy off white head. Malty woody carmely aromas. Plenty of hop bite but just short of an IPA Bog and fairly heavy. Decent caramel sweetness.
