A malt-forward American style amber; with a slight hint of peppery rye finish.

Draft at brewery. This is the definition of amateur commercial brewing. Syrupy, malty, tea, and garbage. I really do feel that my home brew is better or at least more interesting.

First came the Kopper Rye, now we have the new and improved, and spelled far too accurately for my usual taste, Amber Rye. Confirmed as a completely different beer by the brewmaster. Pours a dark copper amber with a soda fizz head. Mild aroma of balanced hop and grain. Slightly sweet grain up front with a lot of vegetal notes throughout. Always a.hit or miss style for me but this one found the middle for me. Late hop palate. Not bad.
