On tap at Cairn, pours a clear pale golden yellow with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and somewhat astringent hoppiness. Flavour is fairly bitter, with some stone fruitiness and toasted biscuity malt. Fruity and bitter finish.

Draft at brewery. It’s like an ale-esque lager that needs more lagering. Some hops but booo ring otherwise.

Draft pour pint at Cairn. Pours a clear shiny golden color with a thin active fizz head. This is actually a lager, after a lengthy talk with the brewer about how he made a light lager taste so damn good. Correction on the way. Fresh hops centered aroma, which was a pleasant feature. Flavor is crisp, and extremely refreshing. Hop character dominates here. Session lager that drinks more like an IPA. Hints of apple late. Overall a clean, hoppy, well executed lager. I had a couple. Won’t be my last. Headlining lager here.
