On tap at Cairn, pours a deep dark caramel brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bread malt and red fruits. Flavour is similar and simple, with red fruits, bready malt and weird residual sweetness. Not exactly to style but not off. Unimpressive overall.

Draft pour to a schooner at Cairn. Pours a reddish copper color with a medium bubble head. Dark toasty malt aroma. Flavor is so sweet up front. Caramel, medium peat. Smokey late. Overall pretty good.

Draft at brewery. It’s the right color. It’s in the vain of a Scotch ale but I’m not happy with it. It’s very homebrewery with sweetness and still lots of husky malts. Some LME.
