Tulip at brewery. Itβs a good roasted but light stout. Mild acidity from the malts. I get a hint of something akin to pepper at the end. Andrew tells me is usually more spicy.

Draft 12 oz pour at the brewery. I absolutely love pepper beers. I always mention ahead of time in my pepper beer ratings, just in case.somebody actually reads one of my ratings as a true attempt to get an idea of what a beer is all about. Likely. Not. Pours black with a thin fizz head. Soft pepper heat and dark fruit aroma. Flavor is pepper dominant, which I personally enjoy most of the time, but it takes away a little bit from the full body stout that is the regular. Pepper character here is very nice though. The heat is just right. Makes for a good sipping imperial. Tough to beat the "regular" imperial stout but this is still solid.
