Draft at The Collective. A light colored quad? Not too sweet but definitely Belgian. Low fruit and not very alcoholic tasting. Not olumy, not biscuit but also not fruity and estery. Not what I consider a quad but I like it.

Draft 5 oz pour at The Collective, which I correctly predicted would be plenty of this beer. Oily golden pour with no head. Heavy alcohol aroma. Nothing much to pick out of it other than that. Viciously sweet malt, caramel up front, with a pure alcohol transition and finish. NPR. Maybe I am overexaggerating a bit, but im not going to try blowing out any candles here soon. Warming and mostly smooth finish. I can’t imagine drinking much more than a half dozen ounces of this, but good qualities were there. Fun try.
