Pours thick, almost oily, clear amber. Médium small, white. Fluffy head. Médium stability. Smell is medium strong, bit boozy, some caramel, honey sweetness. Taste is sweet, tad bitterness, caramel. Honey, Madeira. Fruity ( like a grape liquor) ends sweet, very malty. Médium carbonation, which is to the high side for this kinda beer. OK in general.

Bought at Liquor Shed.

It pours a mostly clear copper, has a small head of foam, produces good lacing.

Smells sweet with caramel malt, brown sugar or maple syrup. Somewhat of a boozy aroma.

Sweet but such a true Doppelbock, maple syrup and caramel oozing onto my palate. The alcohol brings some warming after the swallow but it's hidden pretty well in the taste. Bottle code doesn't make any sense so I don't know how old the 6pack is: 2730251.

Close to full bodied, lowish carbonation.

Excellent!!

Bottle/Fest. A- Caramel, malty, bready. A- Orange color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Malty, caramel, fruity. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Kind of a malt bomb. Okay, but nothing really stands out. Didn't taste 11% though.

0.33 l bottle from 'Rudat', best before April 2018. Clear, very dark reddish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, molasses, raisins, amarena cherries and marzipan. Very sweet, intensely malty and slightly fruity taste of caramel, molasses, raisins, vanilla, marzipan and hints of candied apricot, followed by a long, just slightly bitter, quite warming and slightly alcoholic finish. Full body, almost oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Pleasant sipper, not overly sophisticated but saturating and well-drinkable.

0,33 l bottle from Getränkefeinkost, Lüneburg. Dark red brown with a small head. Sweet alcoholic smell. Taste is very smooth for its abv. Sweet malt, shy hop. Still warming. Low bitterness. High drinkability for 11% abv. Great stuff.
