12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy dark copper orange with a small white head. Aroma is quite vegetal, with piney hops, herbal notes and crisp cabbage. Flavour is along the same lines, with a very herbal, vegetal character, some grassy hops, and biscuity malt. Something seems not quite right here with the vegetal notes. Needs work.

Growler, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very grainy with cereal malt and piney hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with cereal malts and piney hops. Very dry and blonde IPA. Well-balanced and highly drinkable. Excellent.

Bomber. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. A big sticky sweet resin nose. Sweet tropical fruit, some caramel, mango, a bit of bitterness. Lots of depth here. No heat, slick palate, easy to drink. Lovely IIPA.

Tasting at Matt’s, canned 5/1/17, 2 months old
Hazy golden color. I sense some orange peel in the aroma. Lean body, the malt base is very generic; balanced bitterness level, resiny bitter orange hops, not very bright though.
Good beer, I was expecting more though.

I originally had a growler of this that Andrew shared at a tasting. I really liked it and now the bombers came out. So, I purchased a fresh bottle super quick. Well, I still love it. Low on the bitterness. Hops are sweet and fruity, just my type. Not much more I can say, no pine or citrus just awesome old school C hops. The dry hopping doesn’t really come out, which is good. For $5.99, this may be the best double IPA in Seattle for the cost.

Draft 12 oz pour at the brewery. Pours a bright golden color with a swirling fizz head. Well balanced aroma. Hop centered flavor, heavy bitter finish, as expected. Decently balanced double. Pretty good.
