Draught at the brewery
Cloudy amber color. Classic American Belgian yeast producing a beer fruity like apricot jam, full of esters, very sweet, but also with feeling of swamp water and no character.
Not a bad beer; just… know what you are going to get.

Snifter at brewery. Orange color, looks slick. Oh yeah, not just standard American sweet tripel but even sweeter. Oh, and apply. Oh, and I get tea burps. Stick on the cheeks and tongue afterwards. I have a lot of leaway foe American tripels, and this goes past that.

On tap at West Seattle, pours s cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, fruity esters and candied sugar. Flavour is along the same lines, with candied sugar, Belgian yeast and fruity esters. Way too much residual sugar, is the norm for North American attempts at tripels. Not good at all.
